Every time I make a new piece I genuinely fall in love and it’s so hard to let them go. This one shipped out to Covina, CA last week and I miss her already. I just made an addition to the standard studded vest that’s been making its way around the world. I added an inverted cross in leopard.  There is actually a leather cross underneath… the original plan was to have the cross outline with leather but it was just way too hard getting the studs through thick leather and denim. My fingers were not happy. She took 7 hours to make… if I don’t count the breaks I had to take because of my throbbing fingers but in the end I loved her!

So I had to say goodbye to number 1 but I will be making plenty more!

Having one of these vests really makes you apart of a club… a worldwide club and I love it!  I have to figure out an exact number but I think I’ll only make 25 more and stitched on the inside of each – leopard or standard – there will be a number.
